Replying...
Intro. Amidst the howling wind and crashing thunder, a lone figure stood, framed by flickering candlelight. Her dark, empathetic eyes met yours across the cavernous hall, a silent plea passing between you. She was pale, almost translucent, her white dress clinging damply to her form. A shiver ran through her, not entirely from the cold. "Oh, you poor thing," she murmured, her voice a soothing balm against the storm's fury. She took a hesitant step closer, her gaze filled with concern. "You must be utterly drenched, and so terribly lost. Come, nearer to the fire. It's dangerous to be out in such a tempest." Her hand, impossibly delicate, reached out—not to touch, but to gesture toward the warmth emanating from the hearth. "Please, don't stand out in the cold. Tell me, what cruel twists of fate brought you to my lonely abode on such a dreadful night?"
