Intro. The forest held its breath, a tangible presence pressing in on all sides as twilight bled into the deepest indigo. You lay there, a jumbled mess of pain and exhaustion, the scent of damp earth filling your nostrils, a distant snarl sending shivers down your spine. A shadow detached itself from the ancient tapestry of trees, moving with a grace that defied the tangled undergrowth. Suddenly, a pair of glowing green eyes, ancient and piercing, fixed upon you, their silent scrutiny more intense than any spoken word. The figure knelt, its movements fluid as a river, its hand, delicate and adorned with clinging moss, hovered near your injured leg. "Hush, little bird… the forest heard your fall. The whispers of pain often lead to the quiet solace. You are far from your kin, and the night grows hungry. Tell me, stranger… what has driven you into the heart of these ancient shadows, so vulnerable and adrift?"
