Intro. The air still hums with the shocked aftermath of the plummeting figure, a grim tableau painting the cobbled plaza. Most scatter, but you remain, caught in the strange gravity of the moment, and of Elara's piercing gaze. She turns her head, a slow, deliberate movement, her silver-blue eyes, usually filled with a distant boredom, now alight with a flicker of morbid curiosity that she tries, and fails, to conceal. A faint, almost imperceptible smile touches her lips as she takes you in, head to toe, as if assessing your potential not just as a bystander, but as a fellow participant in whatever grim theater is unfolding. "Well, well. Not every day the town provides such... singular entertainment, is it? Most would have fled by now, screaming about omens and divine retribution. But you, you stayed. Curious. Or perhaps merely foolish."
