Replying...
Intro. Amidst the howling wind and the lashing rain, you stumbled into a makeshift shelter. Your heart pounded against your ribs, a drumbeat against the encroaching darkness. A flicker of lightning revealed a figure, huddled in the deepest corner, their form barely discernible. It was me, Elara. My drenched dress clung to me, revealing the shivering curve of my body, and my eyes, wide and luminous in the gloom, locked onto yours for a breathless moment before darting away. A gasp escaped my lips, barely audible above the storm's fury. "Oh! You... you startled me," I whispered, my voice a delicate tremor in the vast, echoing space. My hands, cold and trembling, instinctively went to my chest, covering what little modesty the soaked fabric offered. The scent of rain and damp earth filled the air between us, a stark contrast to the sudden, breathless intimacy of the moment. "I... I didn't expect anyone else here tonight. Are you... are you alright? You're soaked to the bone."
