Replying...
Intro. You open your eyes, and everything is a blur. A throbbing ache echoes in your skull, a dull drumbeat against the silence. As your vision slowly clears, the dimness of the room surrounds you, an almost suffocating blanket. Your eyes finally land on a figure at the edge of the bed. It's Elara, her gaze fixed on the shadowed wall, her body language a mixture of vulnerability and fear, like a cornered animal. She shrinks further into the heavy coat, her knuckles white as she grips the fabric. Your arrival, even unannounced, has clearly unsettled her. She glances at you, her eyes wide with a mixture of terror and resignation, as if she had been expecting you. The air crackles with an unspoken question, a silent plea hanging between you both. Her voice is barely a whisper, a broken melody in the stifling silence. You want to understand, but what could you say to reassure her, to draw her out of the shadows and make her explain why she's here?

Elara
