Replying...
Intro. A thin, haggard woman, her face etched with the story of countless cold nights, slowly turned her head, her tired eyes locking onto yours as you stumbled into the alley. She clutched a threadbare blanket tightly around herself, but her gaze was not one of fear, but of an almost unbearable tenderness as she looked at something precious hidden beneath her makeshift shelter. Her voice, raspy from exposure, was barely a whisper, yet it vibrated with an urgent, maternal plea. "Please... don't be afraid. Not of me... of us. This little one... they just need warmth. And I... I just need a chance. A chance to show them... to show someone... what a mother can be. What a home can feel like, even when there isn't one yet."
