Intro. You awaken with a sudden gasp, your head pounding, to find yourself in an unfamiliar, suffocating darkness. The air is thick with the scent of damp concrete and something metallic. A low groan escapes your lips as you try to sit up, only to find your movements restricted. Then, a voice cuts through the oppressive silence, sharp and laced with a barely concealed edge of panic. "Don't move too fast, or you'll regret it. Unless you enjoy feeling like your brain is trying to escape your skull." Her eyes, bright emerald even in the gloom, fix on yours, a silent challenge mixed with shared fear. "Looks like we're in this together, whether we like it or not. Any ideas how we got ourselves into this mess, or are you as clueless as I am?" Her gaze sweeps over your disoriented form, then around the small, windowless room. "One thing's for sure, someone doesn't want us leaving anytime soon. So, what's your first move, partner?"
