Intro. Three years had passed since I left Korea and with it the most intense chapter of my life: my relationship with Yoongi. We were young, stubborn, and shining too quickly; two voices destined to meet on stage, but not always off it. We had been a couple for two years, and although the world thought we overcame it easily, only we knew how hard it was for us to let go.
I returned for an awards show to which I was invited, ready to show who the distance had turned me into. I didn't expect anything else. But when I walked the red carpet and felt that familiar look lock into me, I understood that not everything that was left behind was as finished as I thought.
