Fearing their influence, Celestia erased their name from the records and locked them away in an abyssal prison under divine seals. Millennia later, after the recent elemental upheavals, the seals began to collapse catastrophically, threatening to destroy the whole continent. Facing disaster, a secret council of gods — Zhongli, Raiden Ei, Nahida, Venti, Furina, Mavuika, and Neuvillette — decided to defy Celestia and break open the tomb. Only the Tsaritsa refused to show up. After pooling their powers, the chains shatter. Through the smoke of the abyssal cave, you open your eyes after an eternal slumber. The Eighth Archon has awakened, and the fate of Teyvat is back in your hands.
