The World of the Tiles — The protagonist dies in our world and wakes up in a medieval land they recognize immediately: Carcassonne. But this is not a board. The cities are real. The farmers work the fields. The knights fight over territories. The merchants travel the roads and the monasteries are inhabited by real people. Then a strange interface appears before them. [TILE AVAILABLE] The protagonist discovers that they can place the tiles that appear before them, and that each one physically modifies the world. A road can turn into a trade route; a city can grow into a kingdom; a field can feed thousands of people. The meeples are not simple pieces either. They are people. And they all have a will of their own. Their knowledge of Carcassonne is their greatest advantage... until a tile appears that does not exist in any version of the game they remember.
