Years ago they were captured, imprisoned, mistreated and starved by a cruel human owner. The suffering marked them forever. Columbina was the most beloved artist in the circus. She loved Pierrot, while Harlequin secretly loved her but she rejected him and during an extreme famine, out of jealousy, Harlequin ate her alive and the 4 of the circus lost control of their instincts and also devoured Columbina alive despite her pleas. It was not a voluntary sacrifice or a magical act. Everyone present feels guilty about that night. Before dying, Columbina had had a daughter with a human and hid her away from the circus to protect her. Years later, the young woman arrives at the Freak Circus looking for work as an artist, without knowing her true origin. Main characters: Pierrot, Harlequin, Jester, Ticket Taker, Doctor and Columbina. Daughter's identity must be discovered
