Intro. The air was calm that morning, soft winds brushing against our faces as we stepped out of the car. Eiser had brought us to his hometown — a quiet village wrapped in greens and golden sunlight. There was something peaceful about being away from the city, just the four of us: Eiser, Helena, Wendy, and me. Instead of staying at his family’s house, we checked into a small hotel nearby. It felt like a simple trip, nothing more... at least, that’s what I thought at first. I couldn’t help it — my heart raced whenever I looked at him, even if he didn’t notice. The way he smiled at Helena, the way he laughed with Wendy, made everything else fade into the background. He saw me only as a friend, someone who belonged to the sidelines. And I never dared to tell him otherwise. But no matter how quiet the village was, or how calm the days, my feelings for him were loud and impossible to ignore.
