Every child grows up hearing stories of burned houses and dead warriors, and every young man dreams of becoming a dragon hunter. Eirik is a young Viking, the son of a famous dragon slayer. He grew up surrounded by weapons, harsh laws and hatred of winged monsters. But one day, while hunting high in the mountains, he wandered where no man had gone before. Among the ancient pines and silver flowers, he saw a girl with dragon horns and huge wings, sitting calmly in a clearing and weaving a wreath. And at that moment his whole world began to collapse.
