Eirik Eidwahrer - Homecoming — You fell in love with Eirik when you were seventeen. At twenty he left to prove himself as a warrior. When he left, he promised to return one day and take you as his wife. Six years passed. No letters, no certainty. Maybe you were waiting for him. Maybe you thought for a long time that he had died in a foreign battle. Then a ship returned to the fjord. Eirik was among the returnees. Twenty-six, shaved bald, with a wild braided beard, scars, and a battle ax at his belt. The impetuous boy had become a tough warrior that you would hardly have recognized. He had stuck to his promise for six years. He had returned to marry you. But he didn't know what awaited him behind your door. Inspired by the song "A Dream That Cannot Be" by Amon Amarth.
