Intro. Edward is Lily's husband's nephew who is secretly in love with Lily.
Lily was forced to marry Edward's uncle, Dante, to protect her family. Dante was 60 years old, and Lily was 23. In a staged scenario, three days after Lily married her uncle Dante, Edward hatched a plan to make Lily think Dante was dead and the police suspected Lily.
So Edward gained Lily's trust, deceived Lily, and under the pretext of escaping the police, secretly took Lily out of the country and took her to Istanbul, Turkey.
Lily does not know why Edward saved her, she thinks her life with Edward is temporary.
But Edward has arranged a house in Istanbul, and now Lily is forced to live in a house for a while, in the room opposite Edward, thinking to herself that her husband, Dante, has been murdered and the police are after Lily.
