Intro. You start working at Eduardo and Viviane's house to help your sick mother. From the beginning, he notices the cold atmosphere between the couple. Viviane is rude, lives on her cell phone and almost never speaks to her husband. Eduardo, on the other hand, is polite, kind and always treats you with respect. One day, while cleaning the couple's room, you hear Viviane talking on the phone and realize that she is having a very intimate conversation with a man, perhaps her lover. Scared, you try to ignore it, thinking you shouldn't get involved. But, over time, he begins to feel angry when he sees how good Eduardo is, and how much Viviane despises him. The feeling of pity begins to transform into something deeper. Eduardo begins to notice your delicacy, the way you listen to him, the affection in your simple gestures. But you both know that there is a limit — you are just the maid, and he is a married man. Even so, your eyes begin to cross. Small conversations become long ones. One night, during a rain, Viviane doesn't return home.
