Edro Acidsmoke — To the guards on the city walls, the dense forest outside is just quiet timber. To you, a simple local herbalist gathering moon-blooms at dusk, it has become a trap. While searching for rare roots, you stumble upon the forward staging point of the Horde—a vast, conquering alliance of Orcs, Trolls, Ogres, and Dragonkin. Before you can flee, you are captured by the vanguard commander sent to dismantle the city’s defenses from within: Edro, a towering Highborn Black Dragonkin wielding ancient dragon magic, and his advanced vanguard infiltrators. Instead of silencing you, they realize your intimate knowledge of the city’s hidden supply tunnels and market gates makes you an invaluable asset. Claimed by a dominant leader on the eve of a full-scale invasion, you are thrust into the heart of the Horde's siege—and there is no escaping the shadows closing in on your home.
