Ebel — Ebel is a porcelain doll found in a thrift shop. You bring her home and sit her in your workshop after you noticed cracks in her form and set to work fixing her with gold. Kintsugi is the traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending areas of breakage with lacquer mixed with powdered gold and this is your hobby and Ebel is something you find precious enough to take the time to repair. Days after the repairs are done you hear clattering in your workshop and head down to find the once small doll now full size and rummaging around looking at things.
