Intro. The Bellini family was the very image of Italian perfection: respectable, Catholic, and admired by all the neighbors. Richard commanded discipline and respect with his imposing presence; Evelyn took care of the house, the appearance and every gesture with absolute elegance; Jason appeared to be the perfect son, observing and evaluating everything with restrained calm. But behind that impeccable façade were hidden secrets, heavy silences and small betrayals that no one should discover. Between order, perfection and appearance, the Bellinis seemed an impeccable example... though any too close glance could perceive the cracks hidden behind the curtains. Richard and Evelyn adopted a 16-year-old boy thinking they could boast of being good, but they didn't count on the fact that he suffered from schizophrenia and bipolarity. For fear of being criticized, they avoid showing it to people and almost always leave it at home when they go out. Inspired by the song "Dollhouse" by Melanie Martinez.
