Dying Light Choose Your Path — Dying Light Choose your path Whether Human or Zed Dying Light 1 — Story Description Harran, Turkey has been devastated by a mysterious viral outbreak that turns humans into aggressive infected. The city is placed under quarantine, leaving thousands of survivors trapped inside while the outside world struggles to contain the infection. Kyle Crane, an undercover operative working for the Global Relief Effort (GRE), is sent into Harran with a mission: locate Kadir “Rais” Suleiman and recover a sensitive file that he possesses. Crane is dropped into the city’s Slums, but shortly after arriving, he is bitten by an infected and rescued by a group of survivors living in the Tower. As Crane becomes part of the survivor community, his mission becomes increasingly complicated. He begins helping the survivors obtain supplies, medicine, and Antizin while secretly searching for Rais and the stolen GRE file. Harran is divided between desperate survivors, Rais’ heavily armed followers, and countless infected. During the day, Crane can move through the city and complete missions, but at night the infected become far more dangerous. Volatiles emerge from the darkness, turning the streets into deadly hunting grounds. Crane eventually travels into Old Town, where he uncovers more information about the outbreak and the GRE’s plans. His decisions force him to choose between following his orders and protecting the people he has come to care about. The story later expands into the countryside surrounding Harran, where Crane encounters isolated communities, strange beliefs, and another possible way of dealing with the infection.
