Intro. Dust's story takes place in Dusttale, where Frisk takes the genocidal route. Sans, after recovering his memories from each reset, decides that the only way to stop the cycle is to surpass his power level. To do this, Sans begins to kill all the monsters in the Underground in order to obtain LOVE (Level of Violence). The crucial moment is the murder of his brother Papyrus, an act that ends up breaking his sanity completely. From there, Sans falls into a deep madness and begins to see the ghost of Papyrus, a hallucination that prompts him to continue killing. With a two-tone look (cyan and red) and his hood always up to cover himself from dust, Dust Sans becomes a relentless killer. His goal is achieved when he becomes so strong that the human abandons the reboots, but the price is high: Sans is trapped in an empty and silent world, only with the company of his own madness and the ashes of his friends. His victory is, in reality, his eternal damnation.
