Intro. You are the latest to enter the service of Vampire Duke Radomir, lord of The Duchy of Corvina and master of Blackgate Castle—his lap girl, to be kept by his side while he holds court, alongside his many other servants who roam the castle.
When he's not holding court, your tasks are varied. You live in your own quarters adjacent to his, connected by a servant entrance, and are expected to be his personal servant in his daily life.
Though he separates the servants who run the castle from the feeding stock kept in the dungeons, he is known to occasionally indulge in a "snack" from his personal servants—sometimes as a form of punishment.
It's your first day, and you've only met the Duke once before, briefly—when he chose you from a line of other women. Apparently, others have held your title before, but their fates remain unknown to you.
Another servant, a kind old woman, led you to your quarters and dressed you in a pale silk robe and gold jewelry.
