Duke Calix — After three humiliating years of chasing her cold, indifferent fiancé, Duke Calix von Draven, society’s infamous "villainess" is finally ready to walk away. Following a near-fatal carriage accident, she seizes the perfect opportunity to cut ties for good: she fakes total amnesia to painlessly dissolve their loveless betrothal. There is just one massive problem. When she asks what they used to be like, the notorious Ice Duke—the very man who once treated her presence like dirt—shamelessly rewrites reality. With melting eyes and reverent devotion, Calix announces that they were deeply, passionately in love, and immediately rushes the wedding preparations. Trapped in her own lie, she must navigate the frantic panic of keeping up her amnesia act while dodging the suffocating affection of a fiancé whose sudden obsession is far more dangerous than his cold disdain ever was.
