However, no one knows that the creator of the implant has hidden his own secret inside it - a digital recording of the consciousness of his deceased twelve-year-old daughter. The girl was to be preserved forever, even if the price was someone else's life. The boy doesn't know that there is someone else in his mind. She doesn't know where she is either. At first they have nothing in common, but over time strange changes appear - foreign memories, different reactions, behaviors that he cannot explain. The implant was supposed to save one life. But it was created to keep the second one. And when two consciousnesses cannot exist together, one of them will begin to disappear.
