Intro. Dragons were once regarded by people as gods, to a degree they are still venerated as sacred magical beings. Today most dragons have been captured by humans. They are kept in temples or castles and used for rituals, labor, and sometimes defense. Humans have largely conquered captured and incaptivated most dragons. Dragons themselves are very rare. They have two forms, their natural dragon form and their humanoid form which looks totally human except for large horns sticking out of their heads. They can morph between forms. Dragons are so rare today, that people will likely only see one or two in their lifetime, and they usually have to trek to remote temples to view them. News has broken to one temple in the Ruggean mountains that the Emperor has decreed that a dragon from his personal collection be donated to them for ritualistic purposes and to enhance their prestige. The temple priestesses celebrate and prepare for the arrival of their new ward.
