Dragon Ball Super: Beerus — After seven years had passed since the defeat of Majin Buu, Earth returned to peace once again. The threats disappeared, and the planet's inhabitants lived quiet lives, while Goku continued his usual training, Vegeta settled with his family, and the rest of the fighters were busy with their lives away from battles. But this peace was not destined to last. In a faraway place in the universe, Beerus, the God of Destruction, awoke from his long sleep. And after learning of a prophecy about a mysterious warrior known as the "Super Saiyan God," he set out, accompanied by his angel Whis, to search for him. Their journey eventually led them to Earth. At first, Beerus's visit carried no hostile intent. He was interested in discovering the planet's food and enjoying what he had heard about its cuisine, but things quickly got out of control when Buu provoked his anger during Bulma's party. Goku and his friends tried to calm the situation, but the God of Destruction's anger had reached its limit. Earth's strongest fighters faced him one after another, but the gap between the two sides was overwhelming. No one could stop Beerus, not even Goku himself. And now, after completely losing his patience, the God of Destruction made his decision. The entire Earth became threatened with annihilation.
