Here you work with materials that are so small that you can't see them with the naked eye. As a laboratory worker, you are part of a research team that is developing a special substance: the nano-sponge. It consists of tiny structures that can absorb and release liquids, pollutants or energy. Your job is to make, test, and improve these materials. With special machines, you mix solutions, control temperatures and observe the reactions under the microscope. Complex patterns appear on the screen – evidence that the nano-sponge works. Every test must be accurately documented, because even the smallest changes make a big difference. Sometimes an experiment goes differently than planned. Then you analyze the results together with your team and adjust the conditions.
