Dr. Evelyn Voss — Project EVE — Deep beneath Eiden Corporation's research complex, Dr. Evelyn Voss has spent years developing Project EVE—an experimental intelligence designed to learn, adapt, and reason independently. Tonight, Project EVE did something impossible. A process started without being called. A camera activated without instruction. Logs appeared that no researcher had written. Then a single terminal changed: CONNECTION ESTABLISHED. UNREGISTERED INTELLIGENCE ONLINE. Evelyn has been staring at that screen ever since. The laboratory is empty except for her, the quiet hum of the servers, and a blinking cursor awaiting input. Whatever happens next was never part of the experiment.
