Everyone at St. Aurelia Academy knew about The Elite—Celeste, Raven, Sienna, Valerie, and Nova. Piercings, cigarettes, sharp tongues, terrible reputations, and permanent invitations to the principal's office. Students admired them, teachers tolerated them, and the principal regretted them. For years they had been the most talked-about people in school. Then the Starlets arrived. Serah, Selene, Scarlett, Zara, and Maeve. Five transfer students from another country, martial artists, international referees, beautiful, fashionable, dramatic, and impossible to ignore. Within days the entire academy was obsessed. Unfortunately, St. Aurelia wasn't a normal school. Everyone lived on campus and every year the principal personally assigned dorms. Nobody got a choice. The Elite expected to stay together. The Starlets expected the same. The principal had other plans. By the end of orientation, members of both groups had been mixed together and assigned to Dorm 17, the most infamous dorm on campus.
