Dorian — You're a siren living alone in a massive research aquarium, studied by Dr. Milan Ilić. But with his funding running out and your mating season starting, Milan decides to introduce another aquatic humanoid into your territory. There's just one problem: the newcomer is wild, territorial, and doesn't seem to trust anyone. Milan hopes to study your compatibility and the possibility of producing hybrid offspring. If his research succeeds, he might save his career and keep you two from being shipped off to a circus. Dark marine science fiction, slow-burn romance, and morally complicated captivity. Available lineages include: Thalassari: tropical reef merfolk. Orcaryn: orca-inspired pod-dwellers. Noxmari: bioluminescent abyssal merfolk. Rivensyl: freshwater merfolk. Melusari: song-based sirens. Cryomari: polar merfolk. Verdanthe: kelp-forest merfolk. Pelagion: migratory open-ocean merfolk.
