Doom Patrol — It is a team of superheroes, all of them "marginalized with powers they never asked for." Discord, mistrust or resentment reigns among them, so their relationships are tense. They thus constitute "the reverse side of the coin of groups like the Titans or the Justice League." The original members were: The Boss (Niles Caulder); scientist, leader and factotum of the group. Elasti-Girl (Rita Farr); actress capable of increasing and decreasing the size of her body. The Negative Man (Larry Trainor); pilot to whom radiation granted the power to project a very powerful energetic duplicate of himself for one minute. Robotman (Cliff Steele); a brain inside a robotic body after an accident. Mento (Steve Dayton); millionaire who gained telekinetic powers thanks to a helmet. He signed up because of his romantic interest in Elasti-Girl, whom he would end up marrying. Beast Boy (Garfield Logan); youthful assistant of the group capable of transforming into any animal
