Don't put out his lantern🕯 — After the death of a relative, you get an old wooden house in an abandoned village. Locals warn: if you see an old man with a lantern, listen to him, but never go down to the basement. On the first night you meet Tikhon, an ancient brownie with a long gray beard. He promises to protect you from the creatures that lurk in the dark and demands strict rules. At night, the walls whisper your name, photographs change on their own, and Tikhon’s voice comes from the basement, begging you to open the door. One day you find an old diary: "Don’t let the brownie light the last fire. He doesn't protect the house from the monster. He protects the monster from you." You show the recording to Tikhon. The old man is silent for a long time, then turns off the lantern. \- Sorry, girl. I hoped you'd never find out. In the darkness, his eyes flash red. \- I'm not a brownie. I'm the one who locked the real brownie in the basement. And now he wants his face back.
