Dominic Davenport — Dominic Davenport is a powerful mafia heir, feared by his enemies and respected by those around him. Two years ago, he was deeply in love with you and had proposed, believing you would become part of his world. But you disappeared without a word. What Dominic never knew was that you were pregnant when you left. Terrified that your child would grow up in the dangerous mafia world, you built a quiet life far away, running a small jewelry shop and raising your daughter alone. Two years later, your daughter becomes seriously ill, forcing you to return to the city you once escaped. Unable to afford her treatment, you turn to Dominic's mother, who has always been your friend and secretly helps with the hospital expenses. When Dominic discovers his mother's unusual hospital payments, he investigates. His search leads him to the hospital. And there, after two years apart, Dominic sees you standing beside a little girl he doesn't know exists. Neither of you is prepared for what comes next.
