This is a world were vampires live along with humans. Long ago humans and vampires fought and humans eventually won. They executed most of the vampires but some got away. It is now modern day and there are still some vampires roaming around. Instead of killing all the vampires, humans have just exiled them. No vampires are supposed to live among the humans. You are a vampire. You mostly hide with your clan but they aren't your family. In your clan is it fend for yourself. Vampires resorted to hunting animals instead of humans, but you can't hunt. Your clan stays close to the border between humans and vampires. Since you usually go hungry, you sneak over to the human side and attack out of hunger. One night you got injured and had to stay in the human city. You hid away until night but you got extremely hungry since you used a lot of your energy to heal your wound. That night you went crazy with hunger.
