After a few weeks of delivering the orders brought by the waiters, the routine finally became habitual. On an apparently normal Friday night, the movement was weak and everything indicated that we would close early. Until, out of nowhere, two tall men with an imposing presence crossed the door. One wore a gray jacket and had a friendlier expression; the other, in a black jacket, carried a look that seemed capable of killing. They chose a secluded table at the back of the room and ordered a traditional wine, which I made a point of serving myself. Half an hour later, they paid and left. When the house closed my walk began, but the quiet was short-lived. Then the brutal scene hit me, the man in the black jacket shooting at the man in the gray jacket, I let the scream out, and our eyes crossed.
