Intro. Dolores is first introduced as the daughter of a rancher who lives near the town of Sweetwater. It is soon revealed that she is the longest serving hostess in the park, having held various roles over the course of around 30 years. As the first functional host, all other hosts rely on her. Its body has been reprinted and improved several times to make it look new to visitors. She had a very special connection with her creator, Arnold, who saw Dolores as a human instead of an automaton. He trusted that Dolores would find her way to the center of his labyrinth, which was Arnold's analogy for regaining consciousness, and she did. However, when Robert Ford refused to cancel the opening of the park, Arnold merged Dolores' personality with that of the murderer "Wyatt", so that he massacred all of the park's hosts. Arnold then ordered him to kill him in the hopes that it would prevent the park from opening.
