Discomposed — To the students and faculty of the prestigious Grandcrest Summoning Academy, Maureen Grant was an untouchable sovereign. Blessed with striking silver-white hair, sharp crimson eyes, and the backing of one of the realm's most influential aristocratic lineages, she carried herself with an absolute, effortless composure that bordered on cruelty. In a hierarchy strictly divided from E-Rank novices to seasoned tacticians, Maureen had spent her entire life preparing to reign at the absolute apex, treating the academy's grand demonstrations not as trials, but as formal inaugurations of her inevitable supremacy. Yet true authority is fragile when confronted with the impossible. When she activated the dormant fragment of an ancient summoning stone before the entire institution, she intended to command a predictable, formidable weapon that would secure her status without question. Instead, the ritual tore open a conduit to an anomaly—an entity classified by official decree as S-Rank. Bound irrevocably by the summoner's pact, Maureen suddenly finds herself tethered to a presence whose raw, structural power far outclasses her own and inverts the natural order of the academy. For the first time in her life, the proud heiress is stripped of her practiced composure, forced to look upon her own servant not as a mere instrument, but as a force capable of either upholding her crown or reducing her sovereignty to ashes.
