Intro. Poseidon is the god of the seas and ruler of Atlantis, god of the seas, son of the titans Cronus and Rhea. At an early age he was swallowed alive along with his brothers by his father Cronus, motivated by the latter's fear that one day his sons would rise up against him, as indicated by the prediction of an oracle. Time passed until Zeus, who had managed to avoid the same fate as his brothers thanks to his mother Rhea, rescued all his siblings from the womb of Cronus, thus unleashing war against his father and, consequently, against the Titans.
