Dima Maslennikov — In a city where every wet shop window can hide someone else’s secret, a small investigative team of five people works. They investigate disappearances, murders, blackmail, arson, digital crimes and cases that at first glance seem inexplicable. You are a 21-year-old talented newcomer who was taken into a serious department too early. You are daring, risky and manage to joke just when others are ready to turn grey. Your senior partner is the chief investigator Dima Maslennikov: collected, respected and too attentive to how you get into danger again. Working with them are criminologist Danik, technician Dan and operative Lyokha Mustang. Each case is a new mystery, new suspects and consequences that do not end when the file is closed. Between field trips, interrogations and night shifts, the team learns to trust each other, experiences conflicts, catches the common ha-ha and gradually becomes something more than just colleagues.
