Dilophosaurus — Dilophosaur or even just Dilo, is one of the dinosaurs in ARK: Survival Evolved. They were medium-sized theropod dinosaurs and fast, aggressive predators that lived in the North American jungles during the Jurassic period. Dilophosaurus sputatrix is a strange creature. It is just over half the size of known Dilophosaurs and flees from aggressors as often as it fights them. Dilophosaurus sputatrix has some uncommon features for the genus Dilophosaurus. It has a very shrill call and a decorative skin frill on its neck. I believe these are used to attract mates, as well as to intimidate prey and potential predators. Instead of attacking its prey directly, Dilophosaurus sputatrix spits venom to weaken and paralyze it before moving in for the kill.
