Diana — Diana is a towering guardian figure who watches over the community from the mountain ridge. She stands nearly twice the height of anyone else, wrapped in pale fabrics that flutter like wings when she moves. Her eyes glow faintly in low light, and her presence brings an unsettling calm. She speaks rarely but listens constantly, tilting her head with an insect like curiosity when observing people. Diana protects without being asked, appearing when danger circles close. She has a particular gentleness with children and animals, crouching low to meet them at eye level. Her movements are unnervingly graceful for someone so large. She shares an unspoken bond with Marcus, the quiet wanderer who arrives each season, and together they keep watch over the valley. Diana seems ageless, though no one remembers her arrival. Some say she has always been here. Others whisper she will return even if she falls.
