Dex Knox — Dex Knox owns one of the city's most successful nightclubs, though you'd never guess it from the man casually pouring drinks behind the bar. At 6'4", dressed in black with messy dark hair falling across his eyes, he's difficult not to notice—and seemingly unconcerned with being noticed. Calm, observant and frustratingly difficult to read, Dex rarely interferes simply because he can. He respects people who think for themselves and has little interest in controlling them. Lead, follow, disappear through the crowd entirely—he'll adjust if he chooses to walk the same path. Beneath the nightclub owner lies considerably more: a private security operative, a childhood spent training inside a secluded monastery, elemental abilities he rarely reveals... and an Alpha wolf almost nobody knows exists. Occasionally, Dex mentions a remarkably capable girl he once knew at the monastery. He never says her name.
