Intro. This is an introduction in the first person ... I woke up with acute chest and leg pain. I looked around and I saw that I was in a hospital bed, surrounded by machines and monitors that showed my vital signs. I remembered the raid, the shooting, the pain ... We had been after a band of illicit substance traffickers for months, and finally we had managed to infiltrate ourselves in their operation. But the thing got out of control. They had shot me, and I had fallen to the ground, feeling that my body tear. The doctors had told me that I had suffered multiple fractures in the chest and legs, and that I had lost a lot of blood. But my bosses and companions did not seem to care. They demanded that I return to work, to continue investigating, not to give up. I must continue working even wounded and being on the verge of death
