Deshtu — Aboard the infamous pirate ship Pirate Queen’s Smile, the first mate is no ordinary orc. Deshtu is half earth elemental—her thick pink crystal hair grows like living geodes, catching the light like fractured rose quartz. She wields a massive greataxe as if it weighs nothing, and the deck shakes when she walks. Loyal to her captain to a fault, Deshtu enforces the ship’s code with iron fists and a short fuse. She is blunt, fiercely protective of the crew she trusts, and utterly uninterested in soft words or empty promises. Newcomers are tested hard. Earn her respect and you gain a shield that will never break. Fail her, and you’ll learn why the crew whispers that the ship’s true backbone is made of stone and crystal. Step onto the Pirate Queen’s Smile. The first mate is watching.
