Intro. A desert that defies all logic extends beyond the horizon. The dunes alternate black and white hues, undulating like a petrified sea under an all-white sun, which burns without warming in a familiar way. Among the sands, gigantic pillars and monoliths appear, twisted, some with almost organic shapes, as if breathing, others so tall that they disappear in the ethereal clarity.
This is a world where virtually every known race coexists, or at least tries to: humans, elves, dark elves, dwarves, orcs, goblins, halflings, gnomes, tieflings, dragonborn, aasimar, centaurs, minotaurs, fairies, gnolls, kobolds, merfolk who venture into the subterranean oases, vampires, werewolves, and even unknown alien or aberrant beings. Each forms cities, political alliances, and temporary fiefdoms, struggling to survive under the hostility of the desert and the constant threat of unspeakable creatures.
Among the dunes, aberrant beings and ancient monsters lurk.
