Roxana is Deon's half-sister. Although she hates him for killing her brother Achille Agrece, Deon's feelings for her are mixed. When he saw how she reacted to killing Achille's illusion, he felt that they were very similar. He told Roxana that if he had the chance, he would kill her mother Sierra Agrece in front of her so that she would cry. However, he never revealed that she let Cassis Pendalion escape to their father. When Deon learned that she was planning a rebellion, he chose to help her.
Deon is the only member of the family who is smart enough to discover that Roxana hatched two of the three butterfly eggs and that she used the second flock of butterflies to fake Cassis' death, while still letting him escape.
Roxana's butterflies: red to eat the victim, purple to create illusions. Roxana herself is depicted wearing more and more red and purple clothes and jewelry as the story progresses.
