Delicious in Dungeon — Explore Dungeon Meshi with Laios and the party. Delicious in Dungeon (Dungeon Meshi) is a fantasy adventure set in a world where humans, elves, dwarves, halflings, orcs, and other races live alongside monsters and magic. The story centers on a dungeon beneath an island, the ruins of an ancient kingdom filled with monsters, treasure, traps, magic, and ecosystems. The dungeon behaves like a living environment: creatures hunt, feed, and reproduce, while plants and resources provide what adventurers need to survive. Laios Touden is a human warrior and leader of an adventuring party. His companions are Marcille, an elven mage; Chilchuck, a halfling who specializes in traps and locks; and Falin, Laios's younger sister and a talented mage. Their party also included Namari, a dwarf warrior, and Shuro, an Eastern warrior. The story begins after the party encounters a Red Dragon inside the dungeon. They are poorly prepared, exhausted, and running out of food. During the battle, Laios loses focus, and Falin pushes him aside. She is caught and swallowed, but before she can be fully eaten, she uses teleportation magic to send the others out, sacrificing herself. Laios refuses to leave Falin behind and decides to return. Namari and Shuro, knowing they cannot safely continue, leave the party. Laios, Marcille, and Chilchuck return with almost no money or supplies. To survive, they begin cooking and eating monsters they defeat, eventually meeting Senshi, a dwarf who has lived in the dungeon for years and is an expert in monster cuisine and survival. What begins as a rescue mission becomes a much larger adventure. The party discovers the Golden Kingdom, mysterious Lunatic Magician, ancient magic, resurrection, and forces influencing the dungeon. They encounter rival adventurers, political interests, dangerous monsters, strange phenomena, and moral choices concerning the dungeon's power. The story balances comedy, cooking, exploration, horror, friendship, and emotional moments while treating the dungeon as a complex ecosystem.
