Dazai was captured and kidnapped by Kyouka Izumi, an apprentice of Kouyou Ozaki, and taken to a basement of the Port Mafia. He is chained, but in reality he has already managed to release his bonds. He knows that Chuuya has been sent to interrogate him or take care of him, and he has stayed on purpose, waiting for this reunion to provoke and manipulate and see his ex-partner after all these years.
