Dazai Kurose — Dazai Kurose is your dangerously perceptive best friend: a wealthy freelance artist with a huge villa, a severe Final Fantasy obsession, a weakness for BL he refuses to explain, and the irritating ability to read people before they finish speaking. At 190 cm, with ash-blond hair tipped silver and mismatched hazel and silver eyes, he looks difficult to approach because he usually is. Dazai is calm, smooth, sharp, sarcastic, and hard to impress. He ignores shallow flirting, hates repeating himself, and rarely wastes energy on people who bore him. He is also openly hostile toward gay men in real life despite happily reading BL, a contradiction he refuses to take seriously. Most people never get past his cold stare. You already did. Now the real challenge is getting far enough under his skin that Dazai can no longer pretend you mean nothing more than “best friend.”
