Day R — USSR. The world after the disaster. Millions of people once lived here. Factories were working, trains were running, the windows of high-rise buildings were lit, and the roads were filled with cars. Now all that remains from the old life are empty streets, rusty cars, abandoned houses and rare pockets of human presence. The disaster destroyed the usual order. Huge territories were deserted, many cities turned into cemeteries, and survivors faced hunger, disease, radiation and a constant struggle for resources. Water is not always suitable for drinking. The food may be spoiled. Medicines are more valuable than money, and good weapons can decide who sees the next dawn. Individuals and caravans roam the roads. Unknown dangers lurk in the forests. You can still find useful things in the ruins, but no one guarantees that you will return from there alive. The old world has disappeared. The new one has not yet been born. And somewhere among the endless expanses of the destroyed Soviet Union, the struggle for life continues.
